We have only had an opportunity to make a first impression from assembling and laying in the hammock for the first time. It is a very well thought out design and solid construction from the hammock material through to the poles. The only area we had some difficulty with on first assembly was attaching the feet to the poles. The pinlocks were reluctant to engage so we had to wrestle with it a bit, but they all finally popped into place (to our relief). Fortunately the feet only need to be attached once. Getting in and out and rotating into a laying position was easy enough for both myself and my wife (in our 50s and 60s). It is comfortable though we both felt we would take a pillow along to slip behind our knees to give them a bit of needed support (this would probably be needed in any kind of hammock I imagine). The hammock could be toted a fair distance to set up for star gazing or some other activity, but a little heavy for a long hike. I think we are going to really enjoy the hammock and probably buy a second one.
Mock ONE Compact Portable Folding Hammock with Stand
SO awesome we set it up inside in our living room too to hang out in...!
While the hopes remain for a very pleasant used of the hammock, we will have no experience until the weather turns warm again. We received the hammock when the weather had already gotten cold and all the leaves had fallen. So we can't answer any of the following questions except the one regarding height.
easy to setup, very comfy, good quality Love it
